Woodruff Sawyer announced today that it has been ranked as one of the leading privately held property/casualty agencies by Insurance Journal magazine, which lists the top 100 agencies every year. Woodruff Sawyer is 17th among its peers by total P/C revenue, up from 25th in 2012. The list is comprised solely of privately owned firms whose business is primarily retail, not wholesale.
“Our top ranking—not just in the top 100 but in the top 20 of agencies—is a testament to Woodruff Sawyer’s dedication to tailoring solutions for each client, often resulting in innovative, market-setting policies,” stated Stan Loar, Chairman of the Board. “We have a reputation for truly serving as an extension of clients’ internal risk management function, and our proven track record has enabled us to grow our business.”
Woodruff Sawyer’s Property & Casualty practice is lead by Senior Vice President and Board member Kristy Furrer. “I’m thrilled particularly by our strong improvement in the ranking,” said Kristy. “We’ve always been whole-heartedly focused on delivering quality risk management services that give clients peace of mind. Companies want a brokerage partner who truly understands their unique operations and liabilities, and accounts for all the contributing factors within their business and out there in the world that can impact them. The word is getting out that we do a great job at this.”
Woodruff Sawyer provides the gamut of P&C services and also specializes in industry verticals such as high-tech, life sciences, construction/real estate, financial services, non-profit and healthcare.
