Jack provides property loss control and business continuity planning (BCP) services to clients. Jack has been in the insurance industry since 1980. His background includes working in field and managerial positions at a global property insurer and various P&C insurance brokers, where he was successful at driving property loss control strategies. Most recently, Jack was president of his own risk management consulting firm specializing in business continuity management and property loss control. In this capacity, Jack has developed and helped implement business continuity and crisis management programs for various leading Fortune 500 companies. His recent accomplishments have included developing and facilitating disaster simulation exercises for global third-party manufacturing operations and senior-level crisis management teams. In addition, Jack specializes in supply chain risk management, having developed risk assessment & BCP processes, planning templates and scoring metrics for component suppliers, contract manufacturers and logistics service providers. Jack is trained as an HPR property engineer and holds the designation of CBCP (certified business continuity planner) through the Disaster Recovery Institute International. Jack is an active member of the Northern California Chapters of NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), SFPE (Society of Fire Protection Engineers) and BRMA (Business Recovery Managers Association). Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from San Jose State University. He also has an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation. He joined Woodruff Sawyer in 2009.
