John Meister

Assistant Vice President, Employee Benefits



As an Assistant Vice President of Employee Benefits, John works on developing and implementing growth opportunities for Woodruff Sawyer and further advancing the Employee Benefits practice. When working with clients and prospects, he is passionate and strives to help clients achieve three main objectives: reduce costs, alleviate time clients spend on administration, and gain a significant increase in overall ROI with their employees.

Prior to Woodruff Sawyer, John worked as a benefits consultant for firms specializing solely in employee benefits, where he worked in a consultative, service-based sales environment. In this space, he learned to creatively problem-solve and deliver strategy and results efficiently. As a result, John built trust, loyalty, and a dynamic working relationship with clients.

John graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Mary’s College of California with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing.
