About Kim Eiring

Kim Eiring

Kim currently serves as the CFO for Port Blakely, a 159 year old, privately held, forest products company headquartered in Seattle.  Throughout her career, Kim has worked on several mergers and acquisitions, completed an IPO, raised capital for start-ups, set up back-office operations in remote locations, and addressed turn-around situations.  Kim has also focused on building teams in high-growth, faced paced environments as well as revitalizing teams after acquisitions, layoffs, downturns and other adverse conditions.  
 
Kim is a Certified Public Accountant and alumni of Deloitte.  She holds both a BA in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Seattle University.  Kim is a 4th-generation Washington state native with a strong commitment to the community. She is active in a wide range of organizations supporting children, with particular emphasis on the foster care system. These include serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), a board member for Washington Association for Child Advocate Program, and past president of Treehouse and Girls on the Run PS. She is also active in the Washington Women’s Foundation and the CFO Leadership Council. When she is not doing these things, you will always find her outdoors enjoying all the Pacific NW has to offer.
