International D&O Issues

International D&O liability issues are tricky, and too often folks think that their US policy will suffice. This might be true—and it depends on the particular foreign jurisdiction.

Woodruff Sawyer brings years of expertise to this question, and it’s a question that was discussed in the most recent Executive Summary Podcast. This edition of the Executive Summary Podcast features Woodruff Sawyer’s own Jane Njavro. Jane’s discussion reflects her depth of expertise when it comes to considering questions like whether local policies are needed and what is the best of several ways that a corporation can structure its insurance program to address international issues.

In addition, and as always, the latest Executive Summary Podcast will update you on both the current D&O insurance market and the current D&O litigation landscape.

ALSO: If you are in NYC this week, consider joining me at the NYC Technology Companies’ Pre-IPO Summit on Friday, December 13th. Hosted at the NYSE and featuring speakers from Twitter, Palo Alto Networks, Deloitte, Gunderson Dettmer, Connor Group, Class V Group, Morgan Stanley and others—including Woodruff Sawyer (I’m moderating one of the panels)—this promises to be an informative and interesting event.
