Woodruff Sawyer announced today that Matthew Parsons has joined their firm as Vice President, Account Executive in the firm’s San Francisco Construction Practice.
Throughout his 12-year career, Matthew has specialized in risk management and insurance coverage for mid-size and large US construction companies, with a particular focus on advising general contractors, first-tiered subcontractors and heavy civil engineering contractors. Matthew has expertise in underwriting and structuring placements of sophisticated risk management programs including large deductible, loss retrospective, and guaranteed cost and consolidated insurance programs (Wraps – OCIPs, CCIPs).

Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer, Matthew was regional vice president at Arch Insurance Group in San Francisco. Matthew began his career at Liberty Mutual in 2007, where he served as a construction underwriter before becoming underwriting manager for the Construction team in San Francisco. Matthew currently holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Underwriting (AU) and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.
