Jacob has 13 years of experience working on both the brokerage and the carrier sides of the business. As director of financial institutions for our Management Liability practice, which focuses on D&O/management liability risks, Jacob works directly with clients and also at the Practice level on relationship management and new business development. His work includes: collaborating with service teams to develop and execute on clients’ business strategies; establishing service plans and managing account services; managing renewal processes and conducting program analyses; and identifying emerging risk exposures and developing superior solutions to meet client needs. He also develops and presents educational programs to clients and employees.
Prior to joining our firm, Jacob served for nine years at Lockton, where he specialized in industries including technology, life science, retail, manufacturing and financial services. He later became the firm’s financial services practice leader. Jacob also served as a vice president at Wells Fargo Insurance Services and was a financial institutions underwriter and cyber subject matter expert at Chubb. Jacob is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Seattle Alternative Investment Association (SAIA), the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He is also a member of the Seattle Mountaineers Club. Jacob has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington.
