Throughout his 18-year career, Michael has specialized in risk management and coverage placement for mid-size and large US construction companies, with particular expertise in general contractors as well as heavy civil and general engineering construction services. He has assisted clients in virtually every capacity, including: structuring and placement of sophisticated risk management programs, design and implementation of alternative risk financing programs, drafting and implementing contract insurance requirements, claims advocacy, and finally consultative safety and risk transfer services on behalf of general and subcontractors throughout the Bay Area.
Michael is a former board member for the United Contractors (UCON) association, and also serves on the Associate and Scholarship committees. He sat on the board of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Silicon Valley Chapter from 2008–2011. Michael earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and holds a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation.
