Dick Bohling Named CFO of the Year

Woodruff Sawyer announced today that Richard (Dick) Bohling has been recognized as CFO of the Year, Non-Public Company, by the San Francisco Business Times. Dick joined Woodruff Sawyer in 2001 as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. In his role, Dick is a member of the Operating Committee, Executive Team, M&A Committee and the ESOP Board of Trustees.

“For the past decade, Dick has been a tremendous asset to our organization both personally and professionally,” said Charlie Rosson, Chief Executive Officer at Woodruff Sawyer. “His contributions during his tenure have been impressive and he has been an invaluable member of the Woodruff Sawyer team. We are pleased to see him being recognized with this prestigious award.”

The Sixth Annual Bay Area CFO of the Year Award ceremony was held at the Westin St. Francis Hotel on June 1. With over 550 attendees, the event raised $430,000 in support of Larkin Street Youth Services, which has served homeless and at-risk youth in San Francisco through its comprehensive programs in outreach, housing, medical and social services, education and job assistance for over 27 years.

Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer, Dick spent over 20 years in corporate and regional positions for Acordia, Aon, and Sedgwick, with experience in acquisitions, systems, office administration and management accounting. Dick earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame and holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) professional designations.
