Carolyn Polikoff joined Woodruff Sawyer in 2006 and has been the National Practice Leader for all of Woodruff Sawyer's commercial lines business units since 2016. In this role, Carolyn is responsible for the strategy and direction of both the Property & Casualty and Management Liability Practices on a national level. Throughout her time at Woodruff Sawyer, she has shown a deep commitment to developing the talents of others—helping them build and refine the skills needed to succeed.
Her contributions and ideas have also impacted the firm on a strategic level, breathing fresh air into the very core of how the firm is organized, how teams are run and departments are managed, and how the firm approaches their business.
Carolyn has challenged operations to be more efficient in the teams she's led and has identified where systems and processes can be streamlined, integrated with new technology, or completely reimagined if necessary.
Under a more holistic, client-driven approach, which Carolyn was instrumental in developing, she oversees a nationwide system that begins with the client’s organization as a whole and their entire list of needs and challenges and then packages a solution from across different lines.

Carolyn has a bachelor's degree in business administration/finance from Rider University and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
