Woodruff Sawyer and FireEye Form Alliance to Combat CyberSecurity Risk

Woodruff Sawyer announced today a collaboration with FireEye Inc. to provide companies with additional resources to improve their cyber security risk posture and minimize the impacts of a potential breach across the organization.

The new offering will leverage Woodruff Sawyer’s extensive cyber insurance expertise with cyber risk assessment services from FireEye. Woodruff Sawyer clients will have access to an independent cyber security assessment tailored to their organization with insights based on some of the most sophisticated threat intelligence available. The cyber risk assessments will generate a proprietary FireEye risk score to help identify and prioritize their organization’s progress in three key domain areas of security: People, Process, and Technology.

Woodruff Sawyer, one of the largest independent commercial insurance brokerage firms, is a leader in providing world-class cyber risk consulting and insurance brokerage coverage for companies across all industries.

“We are pleased to establish this relationship with FireEye” said Lauri Floresca, Partner and Cyber Team Leader at Woodruff Sawyer. “This is an important step in our continued dedication to providing our clients valuable resources and world-class cyber security risk management solutions.”

“This is a critically important resource for our clients, said Charlie Rosson, Chief Executive Officer of Woodruff Sawyer. “The ability to take a proactive approach to cyber risk management will help protect clients and improve their cyber risk profile, reducing their cyber insurance premiums.”

“Woodruff Sawyer understands how critical it is for their clients to evaluate their cyber risk profile,” said Steve Pataky, vice president of channels and alliances at FireEye. “A comprehensive assessment is not only a key step towards improving an organization’s cyber security posture, but it will also give clients useful data to help differentiate their risk when obtaining cyber insurance.”
