Doug Huntington

Doug has more than 16 years' experience in commercial property insurance. He serves as a resource and consultant to property and casualty staff nationwide. Along with the Account Manager, he is your primary contact for consultation and brokerage support. He executes your business objectives as they relate to risk management goals, budget, and long-term strategies.

Doug's expertise lies in cargo as well as global, complex, and specialty risks. He has previously worked for Arch Insurance Company, where he directed underwriting for the global property division of the west region and over a two-year period, increased the number of new business submissions by 33% and the number of bound new business policies by 116%. He directed commercial property underwriting for Lexington’s San Francisco office, managing a $60 million book of business. Doug also directed property underwriting for AIG, Energy and Engineered Risk division, for San Francisco, the Pacific Northwest, and Alaska.

Doug has a BS in Systems Engineering from the US Naval Academy and an MBA in Finance from the University of San Diego.
