Having graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Sciences, Jan has local roots and values that tie into her work ethics and decisions. She shares her time to volunteer at her daughter’s school events and the local community. Jan hopes she has a “ripple effect” in the community – a series of instances caused by a single action.
Jan Lim has been adjusting claims since 1996 starting with Crum & Forster Insurance. She then moved on to Dtric Insurance and Acclamation Insurance Management Services. She is familiar with the handling of the City & County Honolulu Police Department’s subsidized vehicles program. Jan worked for the University of Hawaii at Manoa Math department for a brief four months, coordinating classes with the Department Chair, Professors, and students. Currently at Risk Solution Partners Jan will provide claims reporting and procedure training to Clients. She conducts Claims’ Reviews and obtains Loss Runs for Account Executives as well as Account Managers. Jan determines the needs and wants of Clients and undertakes preparations to educate them appropriately. Coming onto one year with Risk Solution Partners since April 2017, Jan will sometimes need to mediate between Client and insurance carrier. She understands the worth of Clients and the interest of insurance companies, therefore Jan attempts to work collectively together with all parties.
