Sam has been in the property loss control industry since 2015, and has specialized in Forest Products, as well as working on numerous other industries including Light/Heavy Manufacturing, Airport Operations, Data Center, Food Processing and Manufacturing, Healthcare, High-rise, and EER Batch and Continuous Chemical Processes (Ethanol, High Energy Materials, etc.).
Sam has conducted physical risk assessments and advised clients on solutions to reduce exposures from fire, earthquake, flood, burglary, wind, hail, collapse, liquid damage, explosion, and other perils.
Other skills and experience include developing client specific engineered risk improvement solutions and developing and delivering risk assessment presentations to client senior management.
Natural Catastrophe experience for the Pacific Northwest region include flood hazard assessment and earthquake hazard assessment and risk mitigation.
Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer, Sam was a Property Engineer for American International Group (AIG), conducting property loss control services for clients nationwide for 4 years.
Sam earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University in 2014.
