San Francisco, CA – March 14, 2024 – Woodruff Sawyer, one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the US, announced Kathleen Earle and Steve Passerine have joined the firm. Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer, both Kathleen and Steve were at Andreini & Company. They will be based in Woodruff Sawyer’s Walnut Creek office.
Kathleen Earle will serve as Assistant Vice President & Account Executive, Surety. Kathleen brings a wealth of knowledge from her nearly 35 years in the Surety industry. Most recently she spent 13 years at Andreini & Company and was instrumental in the opening of the Andreini & Company branch office in San Ramon. Throughout her career, Kathleen has been responsible for all facets of the client and underwriter relationship, from credit and contract review and developing market strategy to negotiations and final execution of the bonds.
Steve Passerine has been named Vice President & Account Executive, Surety. With over 40 years’ experience in Surety, Steve has held multiple roles within the space including with Fidelity & Deposit, AON, Gallagher and most recently, as Surety Director for Andreini & Company. His vast knowledge of construction, law, accounting, and finance has allowed his clients to work on and qualify for many high-profile projects throughout the US and Canada. Before starting his surety career, Steve was a combat Marine platoon leader and F-4 flight officer in the USAF.
